Purpose and user terms
Welcome to the Celsia ESG Portal, a space designed for users of Celsia products and services to exchange valuable insights on sustainability and ESG reporting, address enquiries and enhance knowledge.
Our ESG portal also serves as an essential link with the Celsia team to progress on your reporting and ensure that you stay well-informed about the latest product and service features. Moreover, we provide timely updates on the ever-evolving sustainability regulatory landscape (EU taxonomy, SFDR, CSRD), ensuring our users remain at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
Being informed about the latest trends and changes helps us all stay on top of our game and do our part for a better, greener future.
The following user terms apply to all who use Celsia ESG Portal. “We,” “our,” and “us” refer to the applicable Celsia entity, the admin and moderator in Celsia ESG Portal. “You” and “your” refers to you, the end-user and member of the Celsia ESG Portal.
To encourage an inclusive and open dialogue on the ESG Portal, we are adopting the Chatham House Rules. When a discussion, space, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, members are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other member, may be revealed. Used effectively, the Chatham House Rule helps to bring people together, break down barriers, generate ideas and agree upon solutions. We believe that is applicable to sustainability reporting and our customers.
By agreeing to the user terms, you agree to use the Chatham House Rules as a pre-agreed guide for using Celsia ESG Portal, particularly when issues of a sensitive nature are to be discussed.
End-user profile and access
Members are end-users are Celsia customers who are voluntarily part of the Portal and they can:
- Post content
- React to a post: reply, like
- Join spaces: Join Public Spaces, request to join private spaces
- Edit their profile: manage their own account and personal information
- Edit their own content and replies
End users can interact with all other members of Celsia ESG Portal.
On Celsia ESG Portal, all members' profiles are public and displayed in the member list. This information, if you fill it in, is public inside the Portal:
- Your name
- Your company
- Your company website
- Your bio
Personal spaces is a private area accessible only to end users from your company and Celsia admin.
Public spaces is a public area where end-users can join groups relevant to them. When you are in a group, the data you share is accessible to the other members of the group and Celsia admins. In the space and groups, all users have adopted the Chatham House Rules.
Moderation and admin
To ensure and foster a positive environment, Celsia may designate Celsia employees to act as moderators / administrators for Celsia ESG Portal ("Community Moderators"). Celsia reserves the discretion to remove and alter any user submission to Celsia ESG Portal at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, the Portal Guidelines, the User Terms, the Privacy Policy, otherwise being deemed inappropriate and/or unlawful; or for any other reason. Celsia has the discretion to block users who violate these Terms or the Portal Guidelines from posting and/or to terminate the user’s Celsia ESG Portal account.
End-users can reach out to the system administrator for moderation of:
- Removing content they find inappropriate or using sensitive information
- Suggesting adding a group
- Any questions related to the usage of the ESG Portal
Data usage and privacy
Celsia is solely responsible for all end-user data that it has itself uploaded on the Celsia ESG Portal, excluding the content uploaded by the end users. Celsia does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of end-user data.
Celsia puts a lot of effort into always keeping our customers updated on the latest regulations coming from the EU and relevant news related to sustainability reporting. However, we cannot and do not make any guarantees to provide the users with all the sustainability regulations and latest information issued by the regulatory institutions. The reporting requirements may vary from one business or customer to another, it is the user's responsibility to get professional advice to comply with the reporting regulations. We hereby expressly disclaim any claims arising from reliance upon information supplied to you through the Celsia ESG Portal for any kind of reporting.
Members shall not upload or otherwise make available to the Celsia ESG Portal any member data that:
- constitutes an infringement, misappropriation, or violation of all intellectual property rights, proprietary rights, rights of publicity, rights of privacy, and any and all other legal rights protecting data, information, or intangible property throughout the world, including, without limitation, any and all copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade secrets, patent rights, moral rights, sui generis rights in databases, and contract rights;
- violates this Agreement, including, without limitation, the Privacy Policy or any applicable laws, rules, or regulations;
- is unlawful, harassing, abusive, tortious, threatening, harmful, invasive of another’s privacy, vulgar, defamatory, false, intentionally misleading, trade libelous, pornographic, sexually explicit, obscene, patently offensive, promotes racism, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual, promotes illegal activities or contributes to the creation of weapons, illegal materials, or is otherwise objectionable or illegal in any way;
- contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
- interferes with or disrupts the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service;
- is harmful to minors in any way;
- constitutes unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of duplicative or unsolicited messages, whether commercial or otherwise;
- causes Celsia to violate any applicable law, rule or regulation, including those regarding the export of technical data.
Celsia reserves the right, but has no obligation, to review any member data, investigate any claim related to member data, or take appropriate action, in its sole discretion, against the person (member or end users) at the origin of the content that creates any liability for Celsia. Such actions may include removing, exercising any indemnity and termination rights contained herein, and reporting such member data to law enforcement authorities.
All data collected through the Service from Customer’s End Users (“End User Data”) shall be used, stored and processed in accordance with the Bettermode privacy policy as set out at https://bettermode.com/legal/privacy-policy. For the avoidance of doubt, member data includes End User Data.
Guidelines
Home
Celsia ESG Portal is intended to be a place for users of Celsia products and services to connect, learn, share information, experiences, and thoughts on their sustainability and ESG reporting. It is also a platform for Celsia to inform their users about new products and services features, and provide updates on what is happening within the sustainability regulatory landscape. Celsia users are companies, banks and investment firms who report their sustainability using the EU taxonomy and Principle Adverse Impact indicators from the SFDR. As a result, the Celsia ESG Portal main focus is about these frameworks and regulations. Nevertheless, this is also a space to discuss other sustainability reporting standards and other regulatory changes.
Personal Spaces
“Company”
This is your personal communication space with Celsia. Your Customer Success Manager will post updates about your current reporting, the timeline, and any useful information for your assessment.
All of your company users can use this space to ask questions or communicate with each other in regards to your reporting on Celsia.
“Onboarding”
Know where to start in your reporting on Celsia and who to involve. Following this step by step approach, you ensure an efficient way to complete your EU taxonomy and PAI & other indicators reporting.
“Book a meeting”
Meet with your Customer Success Manager, our Minimum safeguards and Human right expert or our Sustainability and Reporting frameworks expert. For urgent requests, use the tool chat or give us a phone call.
Public Spaces
“General chat”
This general chat serves as a platform for sharing information, knowledge, and news about various topics. It can be a place to ask questions, seek advice, or share insights with others.
- Check if your topic has been covered in a previous discussion
- Keep the conversation focused on the topic at hand
- Be supportive and inclusive for users facing similar challenges or experiences
- If you want to chat directly to Celsia team, you can use Personal Spaces
“EU taxonomy”
This space is dedicated to the EU taxonomy reporting framework. You can ask questions, help others, and share good practices to the community in order to build collective knowledge across companies and industries.
Celsia has a moderation role to make sure the content follows the EU taxonomy regulation and latest FAQ published by the EU Commission.
If you have questions to address directly to Celsia, it is preferred that you use your company space or book a meeting.
“SFDR and PAI”
This space is dedicated to the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation and its reporting on Principal Adverse Impact (PAI). But also other indicator reporting. You can ask questions, help others, and share good practices to the community in order to build a collective knowledge across investment firms and industries.
Celsia has a moderation role to make sure the content follows the SFDR and latest FAQ published by the EU Commission.
If you have questions to address directly to Celsia, it is preferred that you use the Personal Spaces or book a meeting.
“CSRD and ESRS”
This space is dedicated to the EU’s upcoming Corporate Sustainable Reporting Directive (CSRD). You can ask and learn about the rules and requirements for companies to report on sustainability-related impacts, opportunities and risks set out by the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
Celsia has a moderation role to make sure the content follows the CSRD and latest FAQ published by the EU Commission.
